waaaaay overcooked

Holy guacamole! What an extreme first-day-back-at-school-after-assessments it was today. I'm not sure why, but I couldn't sleep last night and kept rolling around, so this morning it was quite a miracle that I got up. Well, actually I got up and brushed my teeth, then accidentally fell asleep again xD Still got to school on time though... I think I shall attempt to minimise my latenesses from now on - don't think it looks too great on my report. Hmmm no worries I had like 9 lates in 2 months?

So first thing back at school we get back our maths papers. HA! My marks are quite a joke... just as I thought I couldn't get any worse! Expect the unexpected aye... well right now I'm not expecting to ace anything in the near future so hopefully that'll come =P Well I did do better in my 3U than 4U, if that means anything, though I still got crapadoodles in both.

Originally had dentist appointment tomorrow afternoon, but since our semi's were postponed to then (we're gonna WIN! okay? WIN!), I left school at recess to go today. One word to describe the sensation of getting a filling: OUCH? Far out, it was the strangest feeling ever. First he checked the cavity out and he's like "How about we try without the injection (anaesthetic)" and so that's what we did. It was alright at the beginning, even though the screeching sounds of the instruments was damn scary... but then later when he got deeper... I don't know how to describe it! It was like fingernails on a blackboard... that... EURGH feeling. Haha though I think it was a funny sight coz I was wearing thongs, and I was probably tensing my toes... so the dentist kept asking me if I was feeling okay. My dentist is so funny though... he's really short and asian (with perfect english!), but he's really cute coz he always says "thank you!" for everything... like even for opening my mouth a bit wider or something really simple.

After that life-changing experience, I went to the doctor with my dad to prescribe some medicine for our holiday. HAHA my doctor's pretty cool too. He's tall, skinny-as, and asian as well . He cracks the funniest jokes, except I don't think he means them as jokes? And it's probably just me coz my dad doesn't find him funny at all... =P

Then after that, we went to HCF to do some random stuff... then met up with my mum and brother for lunch. Had a cold drink (don't think I could stand anything hot in this weather!) and my tooth started tingling... argh it's the weirdest feeling. After lunch, went to the bank to buy our travel insurance. But they were being awfully racist and not letting me buy it coz I was under 18 and under 18's need 5 working days to process applications. Damn ageist!

So then had to go back to HCF and buy it from there... and it was more expensive! How horrible. Then... umm... bought a corn (yes ONE corn =D) and finally went home. Washed all the bed sheets and stuff, and took the blankets out to roast. Oh em GEE it was hot today. Air con is my friend. Even sitting in the car with the AC on, my palms and feet were getting all clammy and gross. Hellooooo summer!

Wow. The length of this blog shows how exciting and fulfilled my day was =D In contrast with the lack-of-any-sort-of-life days I've been having lately, I was very grateful for today. Oh plus, we went and had yummy japanese for dinner tonight =) Tis always a bonus. But isn't it weird... how japanese food is so normal to us, but sometimes I hear Americans (well, not specifically or anything) going on about how in japan there are "weird restaurants with raw fish moving along a conveyer belt". Like HELLO?

Ahh... so satisfied today :)

you didn't do too badly....well you failed everything...but you aced physics so unexpectedly...
